Hunt Colorado’s renowned Unit 61 for cow elk during the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th rifle seasons—an area known for its strong elk populations, rugged beauty, and high success rates. This is a guided 2x1 hunt at $4,000 per person, with one experienced guide provided for every two hunters. Larger groups are welcome, making it ideal for friends or family looking to hunt together. The hunt is voucher-based (voucher cost not included) or can be drawn through the Colorado Parks and Wildlife system, offering flexibility in how you secure your tag. Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Outfitter provides all meals during the hunt. Breakfast in the morning, pack lunch or return to camp for lunch depending on elk activity, full home cooked supper.

Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

Hunter responsible for getting to camp. Hunter can fly to Colorado Springs or Grand Junction and drive to camp located near Placerville, CO where outfitter will meet you and take you to the lodge.
